Important information regarding Massachusetts searches

Since Thursday, March 25 all court index terminals at the Massachusetts superior courts have been offline. The reason is unknown to the clerks in any of the courts. This problem has prevented us from conducting any research in any of the Massachusetts superior courts.

We are still conducting research using non-electronic indexes in the lower courts. Because of an overall lack of communication within the court system, we have been unable to determine exactly when the indexes will be back online and we can complete Massachusetts requests. We are optimistic that this will be resolved today or Monday at the latest.

We understand that the problem has been fixed and that all Massachusetts superior courts are up and running.
