Please note that all U.S. courts will be closed today, January 16, 2012 in observance of Martin Luther King Day. All courts will reopen on Tuesday the 17th.

All those submitting criminal background checks today should note a one day delay in processing.

11/1/2011 Court Closures in MA and NH Due to Winter Storm

Power has been restored after a nasty winter storm whipped through New Hampshire and Massachusetts which forced the superior courts in both states to be closed yesterday. However, several district courts in both states remain closed due to power outages:

Massachusetts

Eastern Hampshire District Court (Hampshire County)
Dudley District Court (Worcester County)
Lawrence District Court (Essex County)
Lowell District Court (Middlesex County)

New Hampshire

Hooksett District Court (Merrimack County)
Merrimack District Court (Hillsborough County)

Columbus Day

All U.S. courts will be closed on Monday, October 10th in observance of Columbus Day. Expect a 24 hour delay in all requests leading up to the holiday weekend.

9/8/2011 Court Closures Continue in New York

We have learned that New York State continues to experience court delays due to natural disasters. Although most counties are back online from after Hurricane Irene, there now flooding and damages caused by recent rains causing a State of Emergency in the following counties.

DELAWARE
BROOME
OTSEGO
CHENANGO- Major river flooding, counties currently in State of Emergency. ETA at this time is Monday.
SCHOHARIE- Hurricane Irene destroyed the County building all its records destroyed. Nothing has been communicated about when they will be back up and running.
