EmployeeScreenIQ Discussing Background Checks on LinkedIn
April 3, 2013
EmployeeScreenIQ has been on LinkedIn for a respectable amount of time and we have gained a substantial following on our corporate page. You might ask, “So why bring it up now?” I’m a fan of LinkedIn as someone in the background screening industry because this network helps with connectivity for recruiters, job seekers and those well established in their career. The aim of this post? A quick refresher on the wonders of LinkedIn and of course, to encourage you to follow our company page.
Why is LinkedIn so marvelous? While you might have social media burnout with other networks, LinkedIn is an easy to use, non-time consuming social network connecting users to other professionals in their industry. It helps recruiters find the best candidates for a position and links job seekers to jobs-or at least someone who can point them in the right direction.
Along with those simple and perhaps obvious uses of LinkedIn, you can easily see what your connections are doing, the people they’re connecting with, the articles they’re reading , the latest goings-on at their companies and vice versa. I personally love LinkedIn because it is one of the few social networks that I don’t seem to waste time on-everything on LinkedIn can be useful. In contrast, one could easily spend an hour (or two) on Twitter or Facebook and essentially accomplish nothing.
Companies (including EmployeeScreenIQ) also have a huge window of opportunity, with easier access to posts and content, it’s easy to provide the latest news to followers without oversharing. Knowing all of the positive features of LinkedIn, how can you not take advantage of all LinkedIn has to offer? Whether you’re LinkedIn savvy or a beginner or somewhere in-between, I encourage you to follow EmployeeScreenIQ’s company page where you will find updates posted on a weekly basis AND you won’t be bombarded by emails. Come and join us, we would love to connect with you!
