This Week In Background Checks: 7/21-8/1/2008

Nick Fishman

Okay, as you can see from the title of the post I’ve been a bit delinquent in my TWIB Notes (This Week in Background Checks) for the past couple Fridays.  The Friday before last, I played golf for the first time all summer.  Let’s just say I donated my fair share of balls back to the course.  Last Friday, I had the distinct pleasure of getting stuck in Cleveland for an extra day thanks to a rare closure at O’Hare airport (not).  I even got delayed another couple hours when I flew out the next morning.

Well, I’m back with a vengence.  In case you missed it, it’s been a busy couple weeks on our blog and at employeescreen University.

Legislative Updates

The State of Massachusetts proposes a redaction of personal identifiers on court records.  Yikes!

Sorry again for getting behind on this.  I’ll make my next TWIB Notes posting this coming Friday (something to look forward to).  Have a great week!
