5/16/2014 More Employment Background Check Delays in Oregon

Last week, we were informed that court research in Multnomah County, Oregon would be unavailable until they completed their data migration to a new court records system on May 27th. Today, we found out that several over counties (see list below) in the state of Oregon are following suit and will be closed from Friday, May 16th through Friday, May 23rd.
Unfortunately, there are no there are no reliable alternatives to complete criminal background checks in these affected counties. Anyone requesting employment background checks in these affected areas should prepare for delays. All such requests will be submitted as soon as the courts reopen.
