7/8/2008 Hillsborough Court Court is Closed
July 8, 2008
We just received word that the Hillsborough County, Florida Court will be closed for “a couple days”. We weren’t given a definitive answer as to a specific number of days that the court would be closed, nor an explanation for why the court has been closed. We will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
All requests in this county will be delayed until the court reopens. We’ll keep you posted on the developments.
Since the initial posting of the delay, we have learned that the court records are not available due to a problem with their computer system that houses the records. The court has informed our researchers that they hope to be back up and running by Wednesday, July 9, 2008 but cannot be sure.
This issue was resolved and the court was back up and running on July 11, 2008.
