6/9/2015 Court System Outages Throughout West Virginia
June 9, 2015
As of today, the West Virginia court’s public access terminal system is back up and running.
We have received word that the West Virginia magistrate courts were in the process of transitioning to a new public access terminal system which has since crashed, causing court delays throughout the state. While the courts that had not yet transitioned before the crash are still accessible, there is a significant list of counties (34 of the state’s 55 counties), which will not be available for research until the new system is repaired. As of today, the courts do not have an estimate for when the issue will be resolved.
Please see a list of affected counties below.
We will continue to keep you posted on this outage as we receive further updates.
