As we reported last year the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) has updated their guidelines on background screening. I had the pleasure of serving on the original committee to create the document several years ago. Last May I was asked to sit on the new committee as were other members of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS).
