Welcome to EmployeeScreenIQ's site for electronic fingerprinting services. EmployeeScreenIQ now offers Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) and/or FBI Background Checks for both our clients and for job applicants who are required to be fingerprinted by their employers.

How It Works:
Our National WebCheck system quickly and easily captures fingerprints using a digital scanner without the mess of an ink-rolled fingerprint. The fingerprint is then sent electronically to the Ohio BCI&I for processing. Once completed, the BCI&I will mail the results directly to the requested entity (as directed by the fingerprint candidate). Results are then processed and reported by the BCI&I. See below for average turnaround time for results.

Please note that FBI checks may only be conducted for employment purposes according to state of Ohio regulations. A list of permissible purposes is listed in the link below. Please review this list to ensure that your request is in compliance with Ohio law.

If the FBI check is required for any other reason, prints must be completed on an FBI fingerprint card. The Ohio Attorney General's Office Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation will evaluate the request to determine if there is an adequate justification to accept the rolled fingerprint card. Fingerprint Candidate will still be charged for the print regardless of the FBI's decision.

Quicker Results:
While EmployeeScreenIQ is just a channeling agent, and cannot guarantee turnaround times, candidates and employers can generally anticipate the following:

BCI&I	Generally, results will be mailed within 2 business days or less if no criminal activity is identified
FBI	Results will be mailed within 30 days or less from time of transaction

Scheduling and Process:

1. To schedule an appointment, please contact us at (800) 235-3954 or submit an online request.
2. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm EST.
3. Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment in order to complete the registration form or simply download the form and fill it out prior to arrival.
4. Proper ID is required. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver's license, state identification card or passport.
5. We accept payment only by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or Money Order. If paying by money order, please make payment to EmployeeScreenIQ.
6. The actual fingerprinting process which includes scanning and submittal to BCI&I takes as little as 5 minutes to complete.
7. All results will be mailed directly from BCI&I to the requested entity.
8. If for whatever reason your results are not received by the requesting entity within 45 days, please contact BCI&I at 877-224-0043 to inquire on the status.

Ohio BCI&I Fingerprint	$45.00
FBI Fingerprint	$52.00
BCI&I and FBI Fingerprint	$92.00

Please note that as of June 1, 2008 the ONLY accepted reasons for an exemption to obtaining an electronic fingerprint are as follows:

• Applicant's home is 75 miles or more from the nearest WebCheck location
• Amputations or missing digits (Webcheck 4.0 only)
• Out of state applicant
• Poor Quality Prints (Not able to capture at the WebCheck location. The name of the location of where the background check was attempted must be included on the waiver form)
• BCI/FBI Rejects from the original electronic submission. PLEASE NOTE- The original reject letter must accompany the fingerprint card(s).
