Fee Disclosure: There are various fees charged to EmployeeScreenIQ for access to different types of information. Because of the variability of these fees, we cannot build them into our price structure and must pass them along as incurred. There is never a profit margin built into any fees charged for access to information. Any fee added to a search is the direct cost of information as incurred by EmployeeScreenIQ. Examples:
- County Court Access Fee - less than 15% of approximately 10,000 court jurisdictions across the country charge an access fee, typically $5.00-$15.00
- New York Office of Court Administration (OCA) - approximately 16 counties in New York participate in the OCA program, which denies direct access to individual county criminal history records. Records in these counties are only accessible through the OCA, which charges $55.00 for a “statewide” search
- Motor Vehicle Record State Fees - all states charge a fee ranging from $1.25 (MO) to $19.50 (RI)
- Automated Employment/Education Verification Systems - some employers and educational institutions outsource verifications to 3rd party providers, which typically charge $5.00-$12.00
Required Physical Inspection - The FCRA and credit bureaus require us to conduct due diligence on all privately held clients to ensure the entities we are providing private and/or confidential information to are legitimate businesses with a permissible use for the information (pre-employment screening is a permissible use under the FCRA). A physical inspection of the offices where consumer reports provided by EmployeeScreenIQ will be maintained is required. The cost of the inspection is $175. It is generally completed within 3 business days from receipt of the User Agreement.
Getting Started
- Complete our User Agreement and Fax or Email Executed Version (Don’t have the user agreement? Click here to request more information)
- All clients must undergo a mandatory $175.00 3rd Party Site visit to qualify for this service.
Once Your User Agreement Has Been Submitted:
- EmployeeScreenIQ will coordinate the site inspection
- EmployeeScreenIQ will send you a link to our self-guided web demonstration for how to request searches and retrieve results
- EmployeeScreenIQ will send you compliant FCRA forms
- EmployeeScreenIQ will send you our comprehensive New User Manual
