Nursing Homes Sued After Rape  We spend a lot of time blogging about the dangers of not screening job applicants and usually the impact is more embarrassing than harmful.  This article from the Star Telegram illustrates the real consequences of not performing even a cursory background check when its needed the most.  For a small cost, this situation could have been avoided.  Hopefully others will learn from this very painful lesson.
